PRODUCT SAFETY RECALL
As both a Mama and a business owner, the safety of my littlest customers is the most important thing to me, and and I care deeply about any risks to their health and wellbeing.
As per the emails I sent out to all known customers in May 2021, I am conducting a recall of all bEE + bEETLE beaded teether rings, dummy clips and teether clips.
These can be identified by the bEE + bEETLE sticker on the original packaging, or matching the product photos below:
These units were sold via the bEE + bEETLE website or social media pages between 17 January 2019 and 6 January 2021, and a small number of units sold in person at the March Madness Fair in Upper Hutt on 16 March 2019.
- 35mm wooden ring may break if crushed, and these small pieces would pose a choking hazard to small children
- 50mm wooden ring poses a risk of blocking a child’s airway
- Wooden animal shaped teether (various) - in certain orientations, the size and shape poses a risk of blocking a child’s airway
- Plastic clip which attaches teether to clothing may break if crushed, and these small pieces would pose a choking hazard to small children
